Welcome to Lesson Five!

This is our last Amharic alphabet lesson. In this lesson, we will learn 9 letters, starting from ከ (ke) to ፐ (Pe). As always, we will practice reading Amharic by forming short Amharic words at the end.

First, we will read the letters one by one, and then we will move on to word building. So, please make sure to repeat after me and watch this video until the end.

Before we wrap up, I have one final homework assignment for you. This is the best way to prove you have mastered these unique letters.

Your Final Homework:

  • Copy the following words by hand in your notebook
  • Take a photo of your handwriting
  • Record your voice reading each word their transliteration and meaning

Then, send both the photo and the voice recording to our WhatsApp or Telegram group.

I will personally check your work, track your progress, and give feedback whenever necessary.
