Learn Amharic easily. Easy Amharic

Do you want to learn Amharic? Great! Today I will teach you some Amharic phrases. Although you shouldn’t be a passive learner, be an active learner. You need to repeat what I am going to say now.

ሰላም ነህ?  How are you doing? Selami neh?
ማነው ስምህ?  What is your name? Manewi simihi?
እንደት ነህ?  How are you? Inidet nehi?
ደህና ነህ? How are you? / Are you OK?  Dehina neh?
አሁን ወደየት እየሄድክ ነው? Where are you going now? Ahun wedeyet eyehedik new?
ምን እየሰራህ ነው? What are you doing? Min iyeserahi new?

Here is a best Tip: don’t study the Amharic grammar rules or single words. Instead, focus on the pronunciation. You know, there are some weird, and strange Amharic sounds, like:

ቀጣፊ = Fake, thief
ቀልጣፋ = Fast
አገኘሁት = I got it
ጠራራ ፀሐይ = Bright sun
ጠማማ = Perverted
ጨለማ = Dark
ጩቤ = Knife = blade
አጭበርባሪ = a cheater
ጵ  ኢትዮጵያ = Ethiopia
ጳጳስ = A Pop
ጸ  ጸሐይ = Sun
ጸሎት = Prayer
ፀጉር = Hair

On top of that, learning naturally is the best and fastest way to acquire a foreign language. Generally, practice speaking Amharic. Say what you want to say. If you want, learn the Amharic Fidel and go directly to speaking. That is how the language learning process works.

I have been studying English grammar rules for years, but my results are not as good as I expected. If I had been speaking English words and phrases without studying the grammar rules and worrying about making mistakes, I could now speak English effortlessly. So, don’t worry about making mistakes. We can’t learn or develop without making mistakes. It is enough for today.

So, on this YouTube channel (i.e., Practice Amharic), I will teach you the Amharic conversations, so, like and subscribe to get new Amharic videos almost everyday. Let’s meet tomorrow with another one. Don’t worry; I will teach you the Amharic language easily.
