Selam guys! Welcome back to Part 2 of the Amharic Words Challenge! And today we’re learning useful Amharic words that begin with the letter “ሁ” (Hu).
These are real-life words you’ll hear in everyday Ethiopian conversations! So, get your notebooks ready, and let’s dive in!

🧠 Vocabulary and Sample Sentences
1. ሁለት – Two
🗣️ ቅድም ሁለት ሰዎች መጥተው ነበር።
🔁 Earlier, two people had come.
2. ሁለቴ –Twice.
🗣️ ሁለቴ ደውየልህ ነበር ግን ስልክ አታነሳም።
🔁 I had called you twice, but you didn’t answer the call.
3. ሁለተኛው – The second one
🗣️ ሁለተኛው ፎቅ ላይ ውጣ።
🔁 Go out on the second floor.
4. ሁሉም ነገር – Everything
🗣️ ሁሉም ነገር ለበጎ ነው፣ አትጨነቅ።
🔁 Everything happens for good. Don’t worry.
5. ሁለቱም – Both of them
🗣️ ሁለቱም አሉ።
🔁 Both of them are present.
6. ሁሉንም – Everything.
🗣️ እሱ ሁሉንም ነገር ያውቃል።
🔁 He knows everything.
7. ሁልጊዜ – Always
🗣️ ቲክቶክ ሁልጊዜ አትመልከት።
🔁 Don’t always watch TikTok.

8. ሁኔታ – Condition / Situation
🗣️ አሁን ያለህበት ሁኔታ ጥሩ አይደለም።
🔁 The condition you’re in right now isn’t good.
9. ሁን – Be (imperative)
🗣️ እባክህ ጥሩ ሰው ሁን። 🔁 Please be a good person.
10. ሁከት – Chaos / Disturbance
🗣️ ውጭ ላይ ሁከት ተቀስቅሷል። 🔁 There is chaos outside.
11. ሁለት ቀን – Two days
🗣️ ስራውን በሁለት ቀናት ውስጥ እንድትጨርስ እፈልጋለሁ።
🔁 I want you to finish the work in two days.
