In Amharic, helping verbs and adverbs describe the time, so in Amharic the simple present and the simple future tenses are the same. So they are the same. We only differentiate them by adverbs. But the simple present tense has three parts, like the simple present, present continuous, and present perfect. But the future is only one, and it’s the same as the present except if there is a time expression in the sentence. So take that in mind and focus only on the two Amharic tenses, present and past, and on their prats.
