In this course, you will learn Amharic tenses with clear explanations and simple examples.

Amharic tenses are easy—don’t think of them as difficult! They are not as detailed as English tenses, and learning them will improve your Amharic skills. However, reading them once is not enough. You need to review them regularly, practice often, and memorize them.

Knowing grammar rules alone won’t help you speak Amharic fluently. You must train your tongue to use the language naturally. If you struggle with pronunciation, practice a lot—read any Amharic text you find out loud and speak with confidence! Don’t worry about making mistakes or feeling awkward. The more you practice, the easier it becomes.
