Useful Amharic Words Starting with “ሚ”
1. ሚዛን (Mizan) – Scale, balance, weight
- ይህን ቲማቲም ሚዛን ላይ መዝንልኝ። (Yhn timatim mizan lay meznlgn.) – Weigh this tomato on the scale.
2. ሚዛናዊ (Mizanawi) – Balanced, fair
- ሚዛናዊ ሁን። (Mizanawi hun.) Be balanced.
3. ሚስት (Mist) – Wife
- ከዕለታት አንድ ቀን ሁለት ሞኝ ባልና ሚስት አብረው ይኖሩ ነበር። (Keeletat and qen hulet mogn balna mist abrew ynoru neber.) Once upon a time, there were two foolish couples living together.
4. ሚያዚያ (Miyaziya) – April (the eighth month of the Ethiopian calendar)
